UPDATE: Giving evidence from abroad
The government has provided a list of countries from which individuals can provide evidence via videolink in tribunals. This includes immigration, employment and tax tribunals. The list is available here
The list applies to citizens or residents of those countries and the rules are different depending on the country.
If the country from which you wish to give evidence is not listed, you will need to contact the relevant tribunal to confirm if you are permitted to give evidence.
This list applies just to tribunals; for criminal matters and civil and commercial court cases, the rules are different, and guidance on them can also be found at the above link.
