What information we collect about you
We collect information about you when you enquire about our services or make an appointment to see one of our lawyers. We may retain the following information about you:
a. Name, address and contact details, including email and telephone numbers;
b. Information relating to your race, sex or religion;
c. Details about your next of kin or individuals you would like us to discuss your case with;
d. Details about your case. This can on occasion include financial or health information;
e. Information relating to criminal convictions you may have.
How we will use the information we have about you:
We will use information about you to enable us to arrange your appointments with one of our solicitors or barristers. Thereafter the information we have about you will be used to represent and further your interests throughout your case. We will on occasion use your data to instruct an external barrister to represent you or other expert relevant to your case; however, this will be discussed with you in advance of any instruction.
Due to our regulatory requirements we will keep an electronic copy of all the work that we do for our clients for six years from the conclusion of the case. Unless there is a good reason for us to retain the records thereafter, such as you are still an ongoing client with us, we will permanently delete those records after the six year period has expired.
We will not disclose your personal data, including details of your case, unless required to do so by law, or with your explicit consent. Wherever possible we will discuss any disclosure with you in advance. We will never pass on your information to a third party for marketing purposes.
We may share your information with selected third parties including; business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you; analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site; credit reference agencies for the purpose of assessing your credit score where this is a condition of us entering into a contract with you.
We will use your information to provide you with details about other services or products that we offer that we think will be relevant to you or of may be of interest to you.
Marketing:
We would like to send you information about products and services of ours and other companies we work with which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing you may opt out at a later date.
You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, click here.
Access to your information:
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some, or all, of your personal information please email or write to us at the following address; Unit 5, 102 Camley Street, London, N1C 4PF.
If your personal details change, or it comes to your attention that the information we hold about you is inaccurate in any way please let us know and we will make the appropriate corrections.
If you have concerns about the way in which we have handled your data you can contact Julia Furley, who will try to deal with your complaint. If you are not satisfied with Julia’s response to any complaint you may have made, you can complain directly to the Information Commissioner Office.
Where we store your personal information
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers based in the UK.
We would like to communicate with you via email and text message. We will use the email address that you have provided to us in order to send you information about our services, meeting reminders, cancellations, scheduling and details about the lawyer representing you. If we are sending sensitive information about your case we will send this wherever practicably possible as a password protected PDF (we will never email the password to you, and it will be provided to you via another medium, such as text message).
However, in some limited circumstances, such as when you ask us a specific question about your case within an email exchange, we will reply directly to that message without using a password protected format, this may include providing information personal to you. We are not able to guarantee the security of any email servers, such as outlook, gmail or yahoo.

Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.
