Julia Furley is a senior barrister and founding partner of JFH Law, bringing with her a wealth of experience gained from over 10 years at the Independent Bar before establishing JFH Law in 2010.
Julia advises businesses in all aspects of company law and employment law, and represents companies and individuals appearing before the courts, employment tribunal and appeal tribunal. She also provides training seminars and lectures in company and employment law to businesses and associations. In addition, Julia represents clients appearing before professional panels, such as the General Medical Council and General Dental Council.

Successfully represented an Italian Endodontist in their appeal against the decision not to enter him onto the GDC Specialist list, under “route 2”, knowledge and experience.
Successfully represented an Indian dentist in his appeal against the decision of the GDC not to enter him onto the GDC specialist list in prosthodontics under route 2, “knowledge and experience”.
Advising a GDP on fitness to practice allegations, including allegations of fraud. This was complex case which involved not only the GDC procedures, but also allegations of fraud against the NHS.
