Accreditations: Duncan qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and as a ‘duty solicitor’ in 2010 gaining experience in one of the largest criminal legal aid practices in London before joining JFH in 2013.
Duncan qualified as a solicitor in 2008 having trained and gained experience in multiple areas of law with a High Street firm in Essex before growing a busy Wills and Probate department for the firm.
His understanding approach to the needs of his clients ensures that they are confident in their solicitor during what is often a difficult time following the death of a friend or family member.
With a careful and meticulous eye for detail you can be confident that every aspect of your instructions are properly reflected in your Will. Duncan is adept at preparing Wills, ranging from those between husband and wife with few assets, through to more complex documents where inheritance tax planning is an issue to consider.
Duncan also has experience in making applications to the court of protection and drafting Lasting Power of Attorney for clients who no longer possess full mental capabilities or for those who wish to put in place the ability for their chosen loved ones to act on their behalf if the worst happens.
Duncan is also a visiting lecturer on the Legal Practice Course at the University of Westminster.
