Employment Law workshop; understanding the basics
London, 30th November 2017 – A half day workshop
Julia Furley and Laura Pearce, two of JFH Law’s specialists in employment law, will participate in the workshop Employment Law; understanding the basics, organised by Building Legacies. This talk will take place on the 30th of November at Good Hotel London, Royal Victoria Dock Western Gateway, London, E16 1FA.
Recruitment process; avoid mistakes, make savings
In this workshop Julia and Laura will guide you through the recruitment process, so you employ the best candidate for your business. They will then help you determine what type of contract to offer new staff – employment, worker or consultancy. Once you know what contract to offer staff you need to understand the legal and statutory duties for each of these categories; they will set out the rights you must provide, including holiday pay, statutory payments and pension auto enrolment.
Who should attend this Employment Law workshop
The law in this area is ever changing; whether you are employing your first employee or employ a number of staff this workshop is for you. It will provide an overview of the basics and update you on new laws.
Why you should attend this workshop
Ensuring you understand the basics of employment law is crucial; making mistakes at the start can be costly later down the line.
